Our story
Who is behind the friendly faces of Misses Mie & Mister Mie? Our founder, Le Thanh Nam, who came to East Germany from Vietnam at the age of 18.
Later, he moved to Düsseldorf, where he built his own Asian wholesale business, supplying restaurants throughout Germany. Initially, his product line included imported mie noodles from Asia, of a quality that unfortunately wasn't convincing.
The love for Mie noodles, coupled with the demand for high quality and a taste reminiscent of home, ultimately motivated Than Le Nam to found Misses Mie & Mister Mie.
Our drive
We at Misses Mie & Mister Mie are convinced that the combination of original Asian taste with high German quality standards creates a product that should not be missing from any shopping list.
We want to bring different cultures together and inspire you to enjoy our noodles in a typically Vietnamese, Italian, Indian, or German style. Or how about Mexican chili with our Mie Noodles?

A Vietnamese proverb says: “Take a look into the kitchen and you know the face of the cook without having seen him/her.“ Our kitchen is an organic and IFS-certified factory in Duisburg with passionate employees who give their best every day to make Misses Mie & Mister Mie a shared success story.
